Belmar Arts Council : 9th Annual Statewide Juried Art Show -- Call for Entries

Entries will be received on Friday, March 8 from 5:00 -7:00pm and Saturday, March 9 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at The Boatworks, Belmar Art Council's headquarters located at 608 River Road. 

Call for Artists: Arts Guild New Jersey (AGNJ) and the Shore Institute of the Contemporary Arts (SICA) "Collab"
Collectors, galleries, curators and arts organization are always looking for artwork by talented artists. While there are a few sites which list artists, there is a great need for a comprehensive database that they can easily access and use for free, which connects them with artists. AGNJ and SICA have joined forces and formed "Collab" to address these needs. This service is currently offered to artists for free, with an annual $10 fee starting in the second year.

Remember to enter with high quality images, so that the juror will get the best possible impression of your work.

Deadline: March 7, 2013. The NEA's Art Works grants support the creation of art that meets the highest standards of excellence, the public engagement with diverse and excellent art, the lifelong learning in the arts, and the strengthening of communities through the arts. Within these areas, innovative projects are strongly encouraged. Organizations referred to as arts councils, departments of cultural affairs, or arts commissions make up the field of local arts agencies (LAAs). 

Philadelphia- Small But Mighty Grants-

The Monmouth County Park System wants to install a mural project at the Manasquan Reservoir Environmental Center. An artist will be selected to complete the 10' wide by 54' high painting. Project completion date is May 31, 2013. Those artists interest in being considered can obtain a "Scope of Work" from the Guild or contact Guild Member Maryann Goodwin who supervises the Graphics' Department for the Park System for additional information.
