Road Trips

Summer has arrived in all its green glory! I wrote a little something about summer in my e-newsletter about enjoying the abundance of this season. If you want to sign up for the announcements- please click here.

One of my goals for this summer is more road trips. This week I took two!

First, was to see  Mana Contemporary in Jersey City. A special thanks to my friend Ellen Martin for making the arrangements.

Mana Contemporary houses artists studios, art storage, shipping, the Florence Academy and exhibit space. The place is huge and has incredibly forward thinking plans for Jersey City and its other worldwide locations.

Louise Fenne, Christine with Lovebird No. 2

The second road trip was the Grounds for Sculpture, Hamilton, NJ was to hear Jae Ko's artist talk on "Forces of Nature."  We went with a friend and artist, Andy Pawlan.  Jae Ko is an incredibly warm and down to earth artist. When you see her images, please remember these are all paper!
